K’s Powerhouse Smoothie

A fruit smoothie with some extras will provide

A fruit smoothie with some "extras" will provide vitamins, minerals, protein & omega 3 fats.

This is the best way to get all your vitamins/minerals/protein & omega 3 fats because it is food based with live enzymes.

2 cups of water
2 Tbs golden flax seed (ground up in coffee grinder) (Omega 3’s fats)
1 tsp. hemp seed  (protein)
1 tsp. Maca powder (Aztec power food) optional (protein) (helps balance hormones too)
1 tsp. Green Food Powder 100% organic (optional) I get this from Alissa Cohen’s site – www.rawteacher.com/kathyedwards (Algae-Spirulina & Chlorella adds more protein) Whew! A lot of protein in this smoothie.
1 Tbs Chia seed (soaked) (protein)
1 Tbs Carob (optional) protein and adds flavor
1 Banana (organic)
Handful of Fresh or Frozen blueberries (organic)
Few fresh Strawberries if available (organic)
Few slices of fresh ginger (Yum!) (stabilizes blood sugar)
1 stalk of celery
7 stem tops of parsley
Handful of baby spinach
1 Chard leaf of your choice
1 clove of Garlic (immune booster)

Add Love!

Blend up and you are ready to roll. It makes enough for three people. You will feel like a million dollars!
